Aaron Mittan
I am the proud owner of Force Multiplier Solutions LLC, a company dedicated to delivering accessible firearm training and home security consultation. Our services include Concealed Carry certifications in North Carolina, emergency/security planning for both residential and commercial properties, individual/group firearm training, and assistance with firearm selection and/or modification. All courses and consultations are tailored to the individual needs of the student.
My diverse background has significantly contributed to my role in the industry, especially in the Appalachian region. I am currently in the back half of my military career as an Army Reservist, with accomplishments in master operating and driving relevant to my MOS. I served a combat tour in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from 2017 to 2018. This experience in threat identification and deterrence deepened my commitment to furthering my education. Upon returning, I attended the Army’s Basic Leadership Course and was honored as a distinguished graduate, reflecting strong leadership and qualifications for the Commandant’s List. Several awards and commendations have marked my service record in technical ability and leadership.
I have long envisioned applying my military knowledge to the civilian sector, which led me to the Sonoran Desert Institute. There, I earned a degree in Science of Firearms Technology and a certificate as a Handgun Specialist, graduating with honors. I also hold certifications as a Range Safety Officer, NRA Instructor, and NC Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor. My experience spans nearly a decade in the firearms industry, including the responsibility of a management position at an FFL retailer and instructing in partnership with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission to promote safe firearm practices and marksmanship.
Combined experience in the practical application of defensive strategies and mechanical know-how compelled me to build FMS. During my studies at SDI, my observation of a major gap in the firearm industry was validated. From the perspective of a new firearm owner or the common citizen, training and education is emphasized but rarely accessible. My mission is to provide affordable and personalized services to the WNC region, with special attention to those who are apprehensive or new to the firearm community.
