I founded FMS with a simple mission: to make firearm training, personal protection, and emergency preparedness accessible to everyday people. Whether someone is brand new to firearms, looking to improve their skills, or developing a comprehensive personal security plan, my goal is to provide practical, individualized training that meets them where they are.
My background combines military service, firearms industry experience, technical education, and a passion for teaching. I currently serve as an Army Reservist and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2017 to 2018. That experience reinforced the importance of preparation, situational awareness, and effective decision-making under stress—lessons that continue to shape my approach to instruction today.
Following my deployment, I attended the Army's Basic Leadership Course, completing the course as a Distinguished Honor Graduate and earning recognition on the Commandant's List. Throughout my military career, I have been fortunate to receive several awards and commendations for leadership, technical proficiency, and service.
Seeking to further my knowledge and better serve others, I attended the Sonoran Desert Institute, where I earned an Associate of Science in Firearms Technology and certification as a Handgun Specialist. I graduated with honors and was awarded the DEAC Outstanding Graduate Award, a recognition presented to graduates who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, professionalism, and dedication to their craft. I also hold certifications as a Range Safety Officer, NRA Instructor, and North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor.
Over the past decade, I have worked in multiple areas of the firearms industry, including management at a federally licensed firearms retailer, firearms instruction, and partnership with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to promote safe firearm handling and marksmanship. These experiences have allowed me to work with people from all backgrounds and experience levels, from first-time gun owners to seasoned shooters looking to expand their capabilities.
What ultimately inspired Force Multiplier Solutions was recognizing a gap in the industry. Too often, quality training is either difficult to access, overly intimidating, or focused on selling a product rather than developing a person. I believe effective training should be personal, practical, and tailored to the individual. Whether we're discussing firearms fundamentals, personal security, emergency planning, medical preparedness, or defensive strategies, my focus is always on helping students build confidence through knowledge and experience.
Above all, I want Force Multiplier Solutions to be a resource for the community. No matter your background, skill level, or beliefs, you are welcome here. I believe personal safety, preparedness, and quality education should be available to everyone, and I am committed to providing professional instruction in a respectful and supportive environment.
